In Australia, telephone betting and betting on horse racing are excluded from the definition of interactive gambling services, and are not covered by the Interactive Gambling Act 2001. Regulatory and mandatory obligations upon Australian Internet Service Providers and gambling services do not therefore apply, including the prohibition on providing gambling services to customers in other countries.
